Kojun collaborated with artists Kanji Hasegawa and Yugo Isaji to create the artistic unit SHIKŌ for a group exhibition at Tokyo’s Kana Kawanishi Gallery in Spring, 2022.

This collaborative work, which began with a common interest in Buddhism, explored the idea of expressing the sacred within everyday life.

As artist and Zen monk Hasegawa says, “Buddhism teaches something that cannot be expressed in words. What could the strange idols born through the communication of making things convey?”
